President Pakistan People's Party Parliamentar-ians (PPPP), Asif Ali Zar-dari has said that everyone should respect the Supreme Court's verdict. Asif Ali Zardari said that the government must not lose sight of the fact that confrontation with state institutions will be counterproductive and undermine democracy. He said it was unfortunate that Nawaz Sharif chose to tread the path of confrontation.

The PPPP President also vowed that the party will continue to protect and promote democracy and constitutionalism.
